A man has been allegedly stabbed during an “altercation” at a business in Elizabeth Town in Tasmania’s north.
Police and emergency services were called to the Bass Highway address around 5:30pm on Sunday after reports of the wounding.

The victim suffered a non-life-threatening stab wound to the torso, police said.
He was taken to the Launceston General Hospital in a stable condition.
Tasmania Police believe the incident was “targeted” and say the victim knew his alleged attacker.
“Investigations are ongoing and anyone with information should contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers anonymously,” a spokesperson said.
