The Tasmania Devils have secured Solstice Energy as a major commercial partner in a four-year sponsorship deal ahead of the club’s AFL and AFLW launch in 2028.
Solstice Energy, formerly Tas Gas, supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses across Tasmania.
As the club’s official energy partner, Solstice Energy will also support initiatives to create pathways for women in football, from playing and coaching to leadership roles.
Solstice Energy has already supported the Devils’ International Women’s Day event, with the two organisations now developing a coaching pathways program in Tasmania.

Devils members will also receive exclusive electricity offers and discounts in the coming months.
Tasmania Football Club CEO Brendon Gale said Solstice Energy was a natural fit for the club.

“We are building a club that belongs to all Tasmanians and want partners who share that ambition,” he said.
“Solstice Energy started here, understands Tasmania and is prepared to do things differently.”
“Our shared commitment to the Tasmanian community and to delivering practical value for our club members makes this a partnership that will have an impact well beyond the boundary.”
Solstice Energy CEO Phaedra Deckart said the partnership reflected a shared vision.

“Few partnerships feel as natural as this one,” she said.
“The Devils are building something Tasmania has waited a long time for, while Solstice Energy is giving Tasmanians a genuine local choice in energy.”
“We both started here, we are both prepared to challenge established players and we both want our success to create value for Tasmania.”
The partnership expands the Devils’ growing commercial portfolio ahead of the club’s entry into the AFL and AFLW.

The deal follows Tasmanian boot maker Blundstone signing on as the Devils’ foundation principal partner in a seven-year deal running from 2026 to 2032, securing front guernsey placement across the club’s VFL, AFL and AFLW programs and New Balance as their apparel partner.
