Club CEO Christine Finnegan hailed it as an “incredible achievement” for the team to be in this position again, adding they were “proud but certainly not satisfied”.

“We’re absolutely thrilled for our entire playing group, coaches, front office staff, our partners and fans,” she said.

“We literally carry Tasmania on our backs every game and are so proud to represent the people of this state on the national stage, competing against far bigger and more resourced clubs. Our team do an unbelievable job both on and off the floor”.

Game two of the series will be held at Hobart’s MyState Bank Arena on Friday, March 22, with access to be given to members first before any remaining tickets are released for general public sale.

“We’ll return home from Perth and regroup, but we’re as prepared and excited as ever to take on another Grand Finals and give our everything to bring a Championship to Tasmania,” Finnegan said.

“We want to thank every single member, partner and supporter who has helped contribute to this success. We couldn’t do it without the best fans in the League.”
