Several drivers have been caught out by a police operation targeting incorrect indicator use at roundabouts.
Officers stopped 10 motorists at the Rosny Park roundabout on Hobart’s eastern shore on Monday for failing to indicate when turning left, right or making a U-turn.

One driver was also found to be driving under the influence of drugs.
“When exiting a roundabout, drivers should signal left where practical. This applies when travelling straight ahead,” police said.
Police say the offending drivers can expect infringement notices in the mail.
According to Tasmanian traffic law, failure to indicate at a roundabout can result in a fine of $146.25 and two demerit points,
