Tasmanian Cystic Fibrosis warrior smashes Hobart fun run

In his red tutu, cape and hair, Cystic Fibrosis warrior Jack Dyson effortlessly crossed the finish line at Sunday morning’s City to Casino race – raising over $2,300 for the disease.

“At 11 days old I was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, a genetic condition that affects the lungs and the pancreas as well as all other vital organs. The average life expectancy is 37,” he says.

“I am doing this fundraiser to help a community that has helped me through the years and to help others who aren’t in as good of a position as I am”
