Liberal member for Franklin Nic Street has announced he will be stepping down as Leader of the House when Parliament resumes on Tuesday.
Street cited his “own health and wellbeing” as the reason behind the “difficult decision”.
“I haven’t made this decision lightly, nor have I made it quickly. For my own health and wellbeing it is the right time to step back from this important role,” he said.
The Attorney-General, Elise Archer MP, will be Leader of Government Business in the House of Assembly from tomorrow.
