Rockliff, who is 53 years old, shared on his Facebook account that he hadn’t felt this excited since he was 17.

The Premier’s post quickly went viral, with many congratulating him on his achievement.
The state leader has been learning to ride around Tasmania for several months, and today took his dad’s 1985 Suzuki GR650 in for the rider’s test – a bike he described as “beautiful”.
“Haven’t felt like this since I was Seventeen! Passed my motorcycle Ps today,” he said.
Rockliff’s passion for motorcycles is no secret, however, this news has taken many by surprise as it’s not every day a Premier is seen taking their motorcycle test.
