Tasmanian TikTok sensations The Fitzy Twins have shown off their impeccable newsreader impersonations on national television this morning, after building a massive following on social media for their uncanny talent and entertaining performances.
With their flawless imitation of the newsreader voice, the Fitzy Twins have accumulated more than 4.3 million likes on TikTok since they began posting on New Years Eve.
Ella Fitzy revealed that their newsreader impersonations began as a creative way to combat boredom while studying for a medical entrance exam. Sarah Fitzy, her twin sister, then joined in.
Today Show host Karl Stefanovic playfully warned his fellow newsreaders to “watch out”, suggesting the twins might take over their roles one day.
