Three Tasmanian thieves are in hot water today after forcing their way into a petrol station near Launceston overnight, stealing $25,000 in cigarettes and $700 in electronics.
One offender reportedly climbed through the roof, while the other two caused $20,000 in damage to the Legana servo’s sliding doors on their way in.
Police recovered the stolen goods at a northern property this afternoon, and say a ‘number of people’ are assisting police with enquiries.
