A Tasmanian man has died after a serious motorcycle accident on a forestry trail in the state’s north this afternoon.
Police say the 48-year-old was riding an off-road Husqvarna motorcycle near Browns Creek Road in Bakers Beach shortly after 12pm when he lost control of the bike and hit a tree.
The man was sadly declared deceased at the scene.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
People nearby are being told to stay indoors and close all doors and windows
