A Tassie woman who punched her partner while he was trying to teach her how to drive has pled guilty to common assault.
During the lesson held at the Silverdome car park, the 32-year-old woman punched her driving instructor-partner after an altercation that began with her attempting to stab him in the leg with a set of keys.

The court recognised that road rage during driving lessons is not uncommon but stated that such behaviour is unacceptable and as a result, the woman was fined $900 and convicted.
