In a world first, a teacher has just swum more than 60km all the way from New Norfolk to the Iron Pot near South Arm in Hobart.

42-year-old Brenda Norman from NSW has previously completed open water swims overseas, and swam from New Norfolk to Hobart’s Tasman Bridge in 2021.
