The car was eventually stopped on William Street, where the pair were arrested.

The 13-year-old was charged with motor vehicle theft and resisting arrest.

They were later released on bail.

The 18-year-old woman faces more serious charges, including motor vehicle theft, resisting and assaulting police, aggravated evasion and breach of bail.
