A teenage girl is in hospital after being hit by a bus in Launceston’s south this afternoon.
Emergency services rushed to Westbury Road at Prospect near St Patrick’s College just before 4pm following reports of the collision involving the pedestrian.

The 14-year-old was treated at the scene before being taken to the Launceston General Hospital by ambulance.
Tasmania Police said her injuries are not life-threatening.
Westbury Road was closed for a short time while emergency services responded.
Police said investigations into the crash are continuing.
