A teenage hoon has had his car seized following a targeted operation into several dangerous driving incidents across the Blackmans Bay area in recent weeks.
Police confiscated the white Ford Falcon and its keys from the 18-year-old driver on Wednesday.
Investigators also issued the young man with two defect notices and three infringement notices.
“Dangerous driving such as hooning that puts the greater community at risk will not be tolerated,” they said.
“Police would like to thank the public for their assistance in the investigation.”

The teenager will appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court at a later date.
