A teenage boy accused of deliberately setting fire to a Glenorchy unit has been slapped with a charge of arson.
The Easter long weekend blaze tore through the property on Surada Place just after 1:30pm on Monday.

Emergency services arrived to find the property engulfed in flames but managed to prevent the fire from spreading to adjoining units.
The 18-year-old is estimated to have caused close to $300,000 in damages.
He was taken into custody shortly after the blaze and is scheduled to appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
