A teenager has died after an e-bike crashed into a pole in Tasmania’s north-west on New Year’s Eve.
Emergency services were called to Don Heads Road in Don just after 8pm on Wednesday.

Police, confirming the death on January 1, said the young rider died at the scene.
“Investigations into the crash are ongoing and a report will be prepared for the coroner,” police said.
It was the second fatal crash on Tasmanian roads on New Year’s Eve.
Earlier in the day, a 72-year-old man died after his motorcycle left Macquarie Road near Campbell Town and hit a fence about 3:15pm.
