A teenage boy has pleaded not guilty to the alleged fatal stabbing of a young man on the Hobart waterfront last month.
The 17-year-old entered not guilty pleas to murder and wounding charges during a brief video-link appearance in the Hobart Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
His identity remains protected by law.
20-year-old Noah Keogh died after an alleged confrontation in the Morrison Street car park at Salamanca just after midnight on October 25.

He was rushed to the Royal Hobart Hospital but later died from his injuries.
Another man, aged 23, was also injured in the incident but survived.

The teenager’s lawyer entered the not guilty pleas on his behalf before Magistrate Robert Webster.
During the hearing, the accused briefly raised his middle finger at the camera before turning away.
His lawyer asked for the matter to be adjourned for preliminary proceedings ahead of the matter moving to the Supreme Court.
Magistrate Webster set the next hearing for January 22 and ordered the teenager remain in custody.

A 20-year-old man has separately been charged with assault over the same incident.
A 14-year-old is also facing charges including attempted wounding, being unlawfully armed in a public place, criminal code assault and common assault.
At his first court appearance in late October, the 17-year-old broke down in tears as family and friends watched from the gallery.
The matter will return to court early next year.
