Two talented young skateboarders are taking Hobart by storm while raising funds for cystic fibrosis!
13-year-old Charlotte Leppard, who has Cystic Fibrosis, has taken to the streets alongside her best friend Zailee Jackson, showcasing their slick moves on skateboards around town to raise awareness and vital funds for Cystic Fibrosis Tasmania.
Their project, ‘Shredding for CFT’, has seen them perform their impressive tricks at more than 60 locations around Hobart – including Salamanca Market, Hobart Town Hall the Hobart Police Station, and on Thursday – Premier Jeremy Rockliff’s office!
The initiative has gained huge support, with Charlotte and Zailee, together with their mums Carrie Leppard and Jess Jackson, already raising nearly $4000 for the charity.
Their ultimate goal is to reach a target of $10,000 this year, a feat they are determined to achieve.
