An ‘IT systems failure’ has forced the public toilets at the top of kunanyi/Mt Wellington to CLOSE today, right as thousands of cruise ship visitors flocked to the summit. 🚽❌
Hobart City Council say a spare computer part has been ordered from Melbourne to fix the IT issue, and expect the toilets to reopen sometime in the next 24-48 hours.

Temporary toilets have been located at the Big Bend Carpark, just over 1km from the broken loos, as they cannot be placed on the summit due to the possibility of high winds.
