Tributes flow for Hobart teen after accident

Hobart is mourning the loss of 14-year-old Jocelyn Daguman after she tragically passed away in a 4X4 motor vehicle accident on Monday afternoon.

Her mum says she will miss her “sweet girl” who she ‘loves very much’.

The teen from Mount Stuart, who aspired to become a veterinarian and loved animals, was given CPR at the scene and then airlifted to the Royal Hobart Hospital, where she later died.

Jocelyn has been remembered as a “lovely girl” who was ‘friends with everyone’.

14-year-old dies in Bridgewater 4×4 crash

A 14-year-old girl has died after a serious 4×4 Polaris crash in Bridgewater this afternoon.

Emergency services attended the scene on Boyer Road around 3PM today, where the young driver was flown to the Royal Hobart Hospital with serious injures.

Police say two girls were on the 4X4 at the time of the crash, with a 14-year-old female passenger escaping with only minor injuries.

The 14-year-old driver sadly passed away in hospital, and police say a full investigation will be conducted.
