The discovery of a loaded homemade .22 calibre firearm during a raid on a Kings Meadows property in Launceston has led to the arrest of two men.
The weapon was seized by police alongside ammunition, stolen property and a stash of drugs during a targeted search on Thursday afternoon.
Officers from Taskforce Raven and Launceston CIB carried out the operation, allegedly uncovering cannabis, liquid GHB, liquid MDMA and methamphetamine at the address.
The two men, aged 34 and 33, are both from Kings Meadows and were arrested and held for court.
The 34-year-old faces charges including firearms offences, drug possession, possession of stolen property and unlawful possession of property.
The 33-year-old faces firearms offences and drug possession charges.
