Two motorcycles crash at rural intersection south of Hobart

Two motorcycles have crashed at a rural intersection in the state’s south this afternoon.

Police and paramedics are at the scene at the intersection of Huon and Betts roads in Neika, south of Hobart.

Police said at 2:20pm the extent of the riders’ injuries was not yet known.

Traffic has been reduced to one lane at the intersection.

“Police request members of the public avoid the area if possible as delays are expected,” a spokesperson said.
