One Tasmanian town has had a stroke of Lotto luck, with a division one $1 million winning entry sold this week.
The mystery player, who bought their ticket at Meadow Mews News & Lotto in Kings Meadows, held one of the three division one winning entries in Monday’s & Wednesday’s Lotto draw.
Meadow Mews News & Lotto owner Jeff Dolbey said he was thrilled to have sold his 26th division one winning entry in 24 years of business.
“We love being a part of winning moments and we have been doing so for more than two decades,” he said.
“This division one winning entry marks the 26th win in 24 years which is absolutely amazing.”

“Our customers will be wrapped to hear we’ve sold another division one winning entry and we’re already getting feedback about how exciting it is.”
“We couldn’t do it without our team here at Meadow Mews News & Lotto, so I’ll be treating everyone to some morning tea to celebrate this momentous occasion!”
The Lott says that as the winning entry is unregistered, officials have no way of contacting the winner and must wait for them to come forward to claim their prize.
“We’re urging all players who purchased a Monday and Wednesday Lotto ticket from Meadow Mews News & Lotto to check their tickets today,” The Lott’s Anna Hobdell said.
