A walker visiting Tasmania has been plucked from a remote north-west walking track by the Rescue Helicopter overnight.
The 64-year-old Victorian man was rescued from Labyrinth plateau near Lake St Clair shortly after 9pm last night after he sustained a minor injury and lost the main track.
Police say the man is a ‘well-equipped experienced walker’, and was able to be located after he activated his emergency personal locator beacon.
