A wall of fire has engulfed a section of the Brooker Highway tonight after a car burst into flames.
Both southbound lanes of the highway near Austins Ferry are currently impassable due to the blaze.

Witnesses tell Pulse the fire started with a car stopped on the side of the road and rapidly spread to nearby grass.
They said fuel appeared to be leaking from the vehicle, causing the roadway to ignite.
Traffic travelling south is expected to be impacted into the night.
Police say the road will be closed from Hilton Road while emergency services work to clear the scene.
No injuries have been reported.
