Forecasters from the Bureau of Meteorology are predicting a warmer than normal week in Tasmania, particularly today and Thursday.
Brooke Oakley from the BOM said that while the north and west might experience some wet weather, temperatures are expected to be higher than usual.
Hobart’s could reach 18 degrees on Monday, a 5-degree increase from typical August temperatures.
Following that, Tuesday and Wednesday will see temperatures around 15 degrees, with Thursday expecting 17 degrees.

Launceston can expect some showers and 16 degrees today.
The driving force behind the winter warmth is a steady west to northwesterly airstream, which will also be accompanied by cold fronts that are predicted to move across the state during the week.
