A smoke warning has been issued by the Tasmania Fire Service for a bushfire burning at Forcett this afternoon.
The TFS says the fire is currently burning in the Delmore Road area and ask all nearby residents to avoid the smoke if possible.

While the fire poses “no threat to communities” at this stage, there is expected to be smoke, ash and embers visible around Delmore and White Hill Roads for some time.
People at higher risk from the effects of smoke, including those with medical conditions, are advised to have a personal plan for avoiding smoke and managing their health.
People traveling in the area should be cautious when driving in smoke, the TFS say.
