Police have charged a man over a brazen Hobart jewellery store break-in but are still searching for the stolen watches and rings, two months on from the alleged crime.
The 33-year-old was arrested in recent days following the July 13 smash-and-grab on Murray Street in the CBD.
Despite an extensive investigation, none of the stolen goods have been found.
Thieves forced their way into the store around 2am on a Sunday morning, smashing through a security door and the glass shopfront before fleeing with jewellery.

A car involved, also allegedly stolen, was later torched on nearby Collins Street.
Detectives spent weeks tracking the alleged offender, carrying out multiple searches across southern Tasmania before making the arrest.

Police seized several items during the raids, but say the jewellery is still missing.
The man has been charged with burglary, stealing and motor vehicle theft.
He is due to appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court in November.
Police are urging anyone with information about the missing jewellery or suspicious activity on Murray or Collins Street that night to come forward.
Tips can be passed on to police by calling 131 444 or reported anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
