A weekend traffic operation in the Great Lake area found several drivers on the road with various traffic offences.
The Saturday stop by Police, transport safety, and inland fisheries officers resulted in fines for speeding, failing to display their license plates, following too closely behind another vehicle, and crossing double white lines.
Police say a total of 34 vehicle defects were identified during the operation and 450 random breath tests were undertaken.
“20 drivers had alcohol in their system but were below the legal limit of 0.05.”
