Labor Leader Rebecca White has confirmed that the party will provide a pair in parliament when it returns, meaning one of their members will be removed from the chamber to even the field.
“We need Parliament to be able to return without any further delay,” White said.
“We’ve had enormous disruption over the course of the last week and there is very important work for us to do around the Commission of Inquiry legislation that needs to be passed.”
White didn’t rule out the possibility of teaming up with independent MPs to pass a no-confidence motion against Premier Jeremy Rockliff’s government.

“We are concerned about the lack of confidence this government has,” she said.
“Chances of an early election is still very high.”
Sports Minister Nic Street says the pair will allow the government to continue their work in parliament, including implementing the recommendations of the commission of inquiry.
