Hobart’s Tasman Bridge will be closed to all traffic later this morning while hundreds of people ‘run the bridge’.
The fun run will close the main link between the City and the Eastern Shore for two and a half hours from 6:30AM to 9:00AM, with motorists asked to use the Bowen Bridge instead.

“The bridge will be closed to all traffic to keep everyone safe while runners and walkers make their way across,” RoadsTas say.
“If you need to travel over the river on Sunday morning, consider leaving a bit earlier or later to avoid the closure, or detour via the Bowen Bridge.”
There will also be other delays and lane closures around Hobart and Rosny while the event takes place.
