Taskforce Raven is investigating what a police spokesperson described as a “disturbance”.

“Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident, but believe the disturbance took place after a disagreement over littering,” police said.

“Investigators are urging anyone who was present at the time or who may have witnessed the alleged assault to come forward.”

Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 131 444 or report anonymously via Crime Stoppers.
