Seven-time world champion surfer Layne Beachley has been spotted in Tasmania ahead of hosting the Women In Waves Day event at Clifton Beach this weekend.
Accompanied by her husband, Kirk Pengilly, a musician and saxophonist for the iconic Australian rock band INXS, the pair have been busy enjoying the natural beauty of the island.

The Women In Waves Day event on Saturday aims to provide a fun, relaxed and supportive environment where participants can build confidence, learn how to surf and improve their skills – all while making new friends.
The event will feature a range of activities such as surf clinic for women and girls, Q&A session with Beachley, and a surf contest for participants of all skill levels.
