Young boy arrested after massive crime spree across Hobart’s northern suburbs

A teenage boy has been charged over a significant crime spree across Hobart’s northern suburbs over the past week.

The 17-year-old was allegedly breaching bail conditions at the time he is accused of committing the offences in New Norfolk, Bridgewater, Moonah and New Town.

His alleged crimes include three counts of burglary, eight counts of computer related fraud and two counts of trespass.

Aggregated burglary charges and destroying property have also been added to his rap sheet.

The teenager was arrested on Tuesday and will appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court today.
