Tasmania Police are renewing calls for information on the cold case murder of Italian tourist Victoria Cafasso.
Cafasso was brutally murdered in Freshwater Creek, Beaumaris on October 11, 1995.
Police are now re-examining leads in relation to a distinctive light coloured Subaru Station Wagon that was seen in the area at the time of the murder.
Witnesses reported seeing a man driving the vehicle, described as being in his 20s, tall, slim and with a surfer-like appearance.
Police are urging anyone with knowledge of the vehicle or anyone linked to it in October 1995 to come forward.
The investigation into Victoria’s murder remains open and police are actively following all lines of inquiry.
A $500,000 reward is available for information leading to a conviction in the case.
