Around 1,000 properties without power across South Hobart

Around 1,000 properties across the South Hobart area are without power this evening.

The outage is affecting homes and businesses in Dynnyrne, Hobart and South Hobart.

TasNetworks is investigating the cause of the blackout and has not yet confirmed when power will be restored.

An update is expected after 7pm.
