A car has been destroyed by fire in Chigwell this afternoon after it was reportedly seen performing burnouts on a residential street.
Fire crews were called to Allunga Road around 5pm after flames engulfed the vehicle.

Skid marks were visible on the road near the burnt-out shell of the car.
Local residents were on the street watching as the incident unfolded.
The Tasmania Fire Service had cleared the scene by 5:30pm.
The car was completely destroyed.
