A smoke alert has been issued for the Triabunna area following a vegetation fire tonight.
Tasmania Fire Service say the fire started shortly after 9:30pm at the Orford Waste Transfer Station, and ask people in the Barton Avenue and Louisville Road to avoid smoke.

While there is expected to be smoke, ash and embers from this fire, there is currently no threat to communities.
