A cyclist has been left seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle in Tasmania’s North this afternoon.
Critical care paramedics were called to the collision at the intersection of Atkinsons Road and the West Tamar Hwy around 3:15pm on Saturday.
Police say the 26-year-old male cyclist suffered serious injuries and was transported to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

The 29-year-old male driver of the vehicle involved in the crash was not injured.
The scene of the collision has since been cleared, with investigations continuing.
