Tasmania’s incoming AFL club is asking the community to help name the two new mascots joining Rum’un the Devil.
The club unveiled Rum’un in March last year and is now seeking names for his two new mates inspired by Tasmania’s places, people and stories.
In a call-out on its website, the club said it was “looking for names that are as Tasmanian as they are”.
Suggestions could come from a town, mountain, river or beach, a local legend or a moment in Tasmania’s history.

People are asked to submit their suggested name along with the story behind it, with entries closing tomorrow night.
“This is your chance to be creative and entries that include something only a Tasmanian would get will stand out,” the club said.

The club said the two new mascots will “be at matchdays and community events for years to come”.
Rum’un has already made his mark beyond the state, debuting on the mainland at Gather Round in Adelaide and marching in the AFL grand final parade in Melbourne.
When Rum’un was launched, the Devils’ chief marketing officer Kath McCann said the mascot took nine months and more than 400 hours to bring to life.
His fur is made entirely from recycled Tasmanian school uniforms donated by children across the state.

“Rum’un is known as an odd character, a uniquely Tasmanian character and an affectionate term of endearment for a Tasmanian,” McCann said at the time.
Entries for the new names can be submitted through the Devils website until 6pm on Friday.
