A driver caught travelling 75km/h over the speed limit at Sandford has lost his licence for four months and had his car clamped for six months.
Officers were on mobile patrols in the area east oh Hobart on Monday when they spotted the vehicle.

Acting Sergeant Joshua McCarthy said the green Holden Commodore was travelling at 155km/h in an 80km/h zone.
The driver was fined $1,224.75 and hit with six demerit points. He also lost his licence for four months.
McCarthy said speeding remained one of the biggest dangers on Tasmanian roads.
“Excess speed is a major contributor to serious and fatal crashes and police are disappointed that some members of the community continue to put themselves and others, at risk with unsafe driving,” he said.
