Tasmania Police have made multiple arrests and seized various prohibited items, including drugs, alcohol, and pepper spray following an operation in Hobart’s CBD.

According to Inspector John Toohey, the operation was conducted with the aid of the City of Hobart’s CCTV network, which allowed officers to keep an eye on individuals of interest and provide an “enhanced response capability”.

Among those taken into custody on Wednesday evening was a 32-year-old man for breaching a police family violence order and bail conditions.
