A 49-year-old man from Tasmania’s northwest has been charged with drink driving after he was caught five times over the legal limit yesterday.
Police intercepted the man’s vehicle in Wynyard on Monday after it swerved and hit a kerb shortly after 1pm.

According to Senior Sergeant Darren Woolley, the driver was breath tested and returned a reading of 0.268.
“As a result of this reading, he has been charged with drink driving offences,” Woolley said.
The man has also been disqualified from driving for 12 months.
