An elderly man in his 90’s has been left with serious injuries after crashing into a tree on the Esk Highway this evening.
Emergency services were called to the serious crash on the highway at Conara near the Milford Road intersection around 4:30pm on Wednesday.

The man was the only person in the silver Mercedes-Benz at the time of the incident and has since been transported to the Launceston General Hospital for treatment.
Police say investigations into the crash are continuing and ask anyone that may have seen the Mercedes prior to the crash to contact them.
