“These awards are a chance for our operators to showcase the quality, innovation and professionalism that defines Tasmania’s visitor economy,” Hills said.

“Being recognised as a finalist among the best in the country is an achievement in itself.”

Hills said the wins cement Tasmania’s growing reputation as a must-visit destination for both interstate and international travellers.

“As the peak body representing our state’s tourism operators, it is moments such as these where we couldn’t be more proud of our island state and the incredible experiences the industry delivers,” she said.

All Tasmanian finalists had secured gold at the state tourism awards in October to earn their spots at the national competition.
