A man has died in a head-on crash on the West Tamar Highway at Legana, with police linking the collision to a serious stabbing at a home in Exeter.
Initial inquiries indicate the man reportedly left a residential property on Main Road in Exeter in a blue Skoda and collided with a blue Nissan Navara shortly before 4:40pm on Friday.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The sole occupant of the other vehicle, a woman in her 30s, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
She is believed to be in a serious condition.
