Two firearm-wielding men have been charged over an alleged road rage incident on the Bass Highway overnight.
The incident began near the Mount Hicks Road intersection at Wynyard around 5:30pm on Tuesday night, Police say.

A 32-year-old man, who was in possession of a gel blaster at the time, have been charged with aggravated assault and possessing a firearm when not the holder of a firearm licence.
A 26-year-old man has also been charged for possessing a firearm without a license.
Both men have been bailed and will appear in the Burnie Magistrates Court at a later date.
Police say the incident involved a grey Mitsubishi Triton and a red Mazda CX5 and ask anyone that have have dash cam footage of the incident to contact them.
