An elderly South Australian couple missing in north-west Tasmania has been found safe in the Dial Range area near Riana, ending a two-day search.
Members of the search team spotted the missing vehicle on the side of Cookes Road shortly before 10:30am on Thursday before locating the man and woman a short time later.
Police said the pair were found cold and wet with minor injuries.
They are being assessed by Ambulance Tasmania paramedics at the scene.

Peter, 79 and Clementina, 81, left the home of relatives they were staying with in Milabena around 2:30pm on Tuesday to explore the Burnie, Ulverstone and Penguin areas.
They were expected back that evening but did not return.

Inspector Anthea Maingay said police had concentrated on checking local tourist spots and were following up every possible lead.
Police thanked all emergency services and members of the public for their assistance in the search.
