A man and a woman have been charged with wounding after an alleged stabbing outside a Salvation Army store in Hobart.
Tasmania Police said a 41-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman were charged following an altercation on Elizabeth Street on Saturday afternoon.
Officers were called to the scene near The Salvation Army Hobart Citadel around 3pm, after reports of a fight involving a group of people known to each other.
“During the incident, a man sustained two stab wounds to his upper body,” police said.
A second man was struck to the head.

Both were taken to the Royal Hobart Hospital with injuries police described as “non-life-threatening”.
Witnesses reported several people were involved in the brawl.
Police said everyone involved was “known to each other”.
“It is believed the altercation was linked to an ongoing dispute between them,” they said.
The man and the woman were both bailed to appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court on October 5.
